Summary/Objective  

To oversee and manage daily construction of Land Development Group’s developments. To build and improve relationships with city officials, vendors, and trade partners. To continuously refine our processes for improved outcomes. To maintain home site inventory with speed, efficiency, quality, and safety. 

Essential Functions

• Establish, Forecast, monitor, and maintain the construction schedule. 
• Hold trade partners accountable for their schedule and work quality. 
• Build relationships daily with trade partners, engineers, surveyors, and local government officials. 
• Oversee Inspection and construction of water, sewer, stormwater, earthwork, roads, and franchise utility infrastructure. 
• Ensure city inspections and acceptance is completed in a timely manner upon completion of work. 
• Research new methods and technologies to improve development results. 
• Recruit and develop relationships with potential new trade partners. 
• Ensure that the conditions in the community promote an enjoyable living condition for residents. 
• Encourage excellent jobsite safety and encourage employees to hold to our high standards.

Work Conditions  

While performing this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. 

The employee must frequently lift or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position (45-50 hours weekly). Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Days and hours may vary, including occasional travel or work on weekends. 

Travel 

Local travel to various worksites is required. Must have a valid and active driver’s license. All applicants will have their driving record inspected, for insurance purposes, before hiring. 

Required Education and Experience 

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction and/or management. 
2. Two years of related experience is required, four is preferred.

Salary Range and Benefits

$60,000+ annual salary, paid weekly.
